Recently, I came across a documentary named "A Plastic Ocean". I am a cinephile, I love documentaries and biographies. This one made a deep impact on me and I couldn't resist myself from writing this.
A Plastic Ocean shows the reality we humans ignore to acknowledge. An enormous amount of plastic is flowing in the oceans and causing serious harm to marine life in almost every corner of the earth. Plastic never truly disappears. Every single piece of plastic is ever generated is still on the planet. Can you imagine? I will attach some of the images to make you think the same as I do. I know, to eliminate plastic completely is nearly impossible even if we find an alternative. But, we can limit the use, right? Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Richard Branson are talking and working to help humanity go on mars. But before we go to mars, how about saving the earth first?
If you are reading this, I urge you to limit your use of plastic as much as possible and if you have time, consider watching the full documentary. I know this won't make a huge impact, but as Lao Tzu said, "A journey of thousand miles starts with a single step"
